Tsunami Warning Bell #2
Object 141 from FrontObject 141, #2 in the Roswell Series. These objects were sourced from a rogue Air Force officer working out of Area 51. This particular piece was found on a crashed spaceship thought to have originated in the Signus Prime system and is believed to be a spent power module from the life support system. The alien writing is a transcription based on a screen display from the ship's communications system and has not been deciphered to date.

Something Trapped Inside
Jason, Son of LucyHyper-locally-sourced holly and maple, forged steel. Forged and cast copper.
Sunrise With Copper MoonA smaller piece combines carved mahogany, carved and fire-colored steel and copper.
RavenForged and welded steel on a carved and laser-etched walnut base.
Pier PressureFir and maple with forged star fish and copper sea grass.
Sanochi Memorial BellThis memorial bell has the initials of the patron’s grandmother repeated in the surface beading of the bell. Oak veneer accents the upward curve of the metal arch. The open-ended design has a particularly long and harmonious resonance
A question of BalanceThis piece is designed for either indoor or garden display and is an incredible fete of craftsmanship and poetry of design. The upcycled scuba tank gracefully balances across the bent oak arch, all joined together with salvaged old growth fir that has been preserved using the ancient Japanese Sho Sugi Ban technique. Sho Sugi Ban uses a combination of charing, brushing and oiling to produce wood that is rot and insect resistant and has been used in Japan for centuries. As is usual with most of my bells, most fittings are hand crafted using forge and hand fabrication techniques. Check out the hand-made wing nuts!
